Exactly the opposite from Jessie, James came from a
very rich family, but he ran away (I would run away
too if I had to marry Jezzebelle!)  In order to
inherit his estate, James has to marry this witch
with a nasty accent named Jezzebelle within 24
hours of his parent's death.  Of course he don't
want to do that, so it probably ain't gonna happen.
James also crossdresses a lot (it's weird, he seems
 to crossdress a lot more in the newer episodes,
they think we LIKE THAT???)  but it isn't as sick
 or whatever you call it as it looks.  Crossdressing has
always been a part of Japanese culture, including
tons of actors who dress as actresses and actresses
that dress as actors, so he really isn't that odd.
In fact, James is a parody of a Japanese Actress!
(This is entirely off the subject, but ya know how
I figured out Poke'mon was Japanese?  My brothers were
wondering why they were always eating with chopsticks,
so I looked it up.  Now we're all a lot smarter than that,
 but that was really hilarious at the time!)
He joined the Bridge Bike Gang with Jessie, and the rest is a blur to me.  They joined Team Rocket
with Meowth, and that brings us to the present.
